Water heater repair & replacement in Kelowna
No hot water, not enough of it, or a tank that's leaking. We repair and replace tank and tankless water heaters across Kelowna, and help you choose the right unit instead of just selling you the biggest.
Licensed gas fitter · Technical Safety BC Lic. LGA0212697

A water heater usually gives you warning before it quits, water that runs lukewarm or rusty, runs out faster than it used to, popping or rumbling from the tank, or moisture pooling at the base. Caught early, a lot of these are a straightforward repair. Left alone, a leaking tank can fail all at once and flood a mechanical room.
We service and replace both tank and tankless units, gas and electric. As a licensed gas fitter, we can handle the gas side of a gas water heater properly, venting, connections and all, which not every plumber is licensed to do.
What we handle
Repairs
Thermostats, elements, gas valves, pilot and ignition problems, anode rods and leaking fittings, we diagnose the unit and fix what's worth fixing.
Tank replacement
When a tank's reached the end, we swap it cleanly and size it to your household so you're not paying to heat water you never use.
Tankless / on-demand
Endless hot water and a smaller footprint. We install and service tankless units and give you an honest take on whether one actually makes sense for your home.
Gas water heaters
As a licensed gas fitter we handle the gas connection and venting to code, the part you want done right.
Signs your water heater needs attention:
- Water that never gets fully hot, or runs out fast
- Rusty or discoloured hot water
- Popping, rumbling or banging from the tank
- Water pooling around the base of the tank
- The unit is past about 10–12 years old
Questions, answered
Repair or replace?
It depends on the age and the fault. A newer tank with a failed element or thermostat is usually worth repairing; a tank past 10–12 years leaking from the body is almost always better replaced. We'll give you the honest call, not the expensive one.
Tank or tankless, which is better?
Tankless gives endless hot water and saves space, but costs more upfront and isn't right for every home. We look at your usage, gas supply and budget and tell you straight which makes sense.
Can you handle a gas water heater?
Yes. We're a licensed gas fitter through Technical Safety BC, so the gas connection and venting are done to code, not subcontracted out.
